...It's a Snow Day!...

Welcome to our snowy corner of the woods. The neighbourhood is buzzing with action - today is a snow day! Make sure your kids bring their snow gear to join the fun - its perfect packing snow for forts and igloos. If they don't have the right stuff - don't worry, we always have a stash of extra mitts and hats.

We can hang out by the fireplace - I have freshly brewed Starbucks - or I can get you something cold to drink. Its been a busy few days around here - lots of sadness. This is the perfect excuse to sit, chat about simple things and cherish the day...

Please leave a message and I'll be sure to come visit - its so much easier to travel in cyberspace - you don't need to worry about the roads being closed!

Thanks for visiting my tea party! We have had two snow days here, but the ground was barely covered. We're kind of wimpy around here when it comes to snow!

Hi, I've dropped in from the party. I perused your posts. Some of them brought me to tears, I'm sure you can guess which ones.

I love to see the way God touches lives. I'm glad yours was touched by the wonderful Godly woman you described.

Ah, I love the name of your blog! And it's a snow day here, too. Almost blizzard-like! When's spring????

Kristen said...

I'll take a Starbucks, pretty please. ;-)

The name of your blog reminds me of that Veggie Tales movie. Have you seen it. ;-)

My kids love playing in the snow, so thanks for having me and the little ones over.

Another housebound blogger today in Minnesota. After getting 20 inches of snow in less than 24 hours.......school has been closed and it is a perfect day to sit by the fireplace (even if it is a gas fireplace) and party-hop! 9th grade son is going stir crazy--I keep coming up with ideas for him--like shoveling! or cleaning his room--he is resistant! Imagine that!

So nice to meet you, neighbor!

Hi there! I love your blog...I've only read through a few of your recent posts, but you have a beautiful take on life, and you're a fine wordsmith, as well.

So nice to meet you!

I have only started drinking coffee and I hear Starbucks is a little strong :) Snow day, not sure what that is here in FL but sounds like some fun. Very nice site....

The girls and I will be right over, but we'll need to borrow some mittens. We don't own mittens down in Texas!

No roads are closed to my blog so come by anytime. I'd love a Starbucks coffee, thanks. I am a seasonal coffee drinker, only when it's cold.

AHHH - I knew I found a friendly place when I saw the Starbucks photo :) - I could have used a cup of 'joe' today, but like you, we have a snow day here in Maine as well. Just seeing the old green and white made my day - as well as peaking in at your site :) Happy Party Day!!! :)

Ruth :)

Thanks for stopping by my place on the party circuit! My kids would love the snow -- we don't get much in SC -- but I'll stay in by the fire, thank you!

HI! I'm here via the blog party. Hot drinks are great when it is snowy outside. I think in my parts, we may have seen the last of the snow.

Peace to you...

Visited due to your blog's title and ended up reading your last four posts. I'm sorry for your sadness lately. "Weeping may endure for a night, But joy [comes] in the morning."

So glad to meet you!

Thanks for the coffee...and it's Starbucks, to boot! I'm making my rounds as a fellow party-goer and just picked your blog at random because I liked the sound of the title! I do like your blog and have enjoyed reading your posts. I appreciate the little lines of a favorite quote of mine, at the end of some of your posts...."dance like no one is watching, love as if you've never been hurt...." The Lord be with you as you mother your little ones. I've put out party refreshments at my blog!! *smile*
